Finally the new Socom Patch

Patch 1.61 is scheduled to be deployed on Thursday, February 18th at 2:00 a.m. PST (10:00 a.m. GMT, 7:00 p.m. JST).
Thanks to everyone who provided feedback on the forum. This patch includes adjustments to the following:

• Lighting of the night maps
  
• Scope line of sight
  
• Weapon movement while prone
  

This patch also addresses an extremely rare issue concerning the loss of Command Equity. Those who have been following this issue on the forums will know that our Quality Assurance and On-line Support groups have been unable to recreate this issue. However, this patch places additional safe guards into the code that we hope will address the issue.

What is command equity?

I'm glad they're tweaking the scopes, too many times I've had a crosshair dead on somebody, pulled the trigger and missed him by seven feet.

Command Equity are your CE points you gain trying to get your Spec Weapons.. I guess people were losing there points for no reason. You know the points needed to get the Tilly, Alice, MOTKO and etc.

Ahhhhh, ok.

Never had that happen to me - at least I don't think...

Just downloaded it and the night maps are brighter.

I love it, the night maps look amazing, instead of blackness you can see the details, how the light hits stuff etc...


And it gives me even more of an advantage when I snipe - I don't use a thermal so I'll be able to see the thermal snipers even better!
