I-POD MUSIC SWAP TO ANOTHER

OK I have a small problem,, actually a big problem.. My wife bought me an I-pod Touch and I have an older I-pod with 500 songs on it.. I want to transfer my songs from one I-pod to another,, But when I tried this it ask me to re-sync my older Ipod and If I do this all my songs will be gone.. My new Ipod touch is set-up on my computer already. Is there anyway to do this with out losing my music from the Old Ipod???

There are programs that let you rip songs from Ipods and store them on your computer. The one that I have is only a trial version and will only let me move one song at a time, however, if you register (buy) the program you can do all of the songs at once.

I would suggest just googling for "Ipod rip software", and if that doesn't help you then just get back with me and I'll see if I can't send you my program.

I went through that problem a while ago as well. There was a program I used but I can't remember what it is called.

I know if you go to your IPod and you can get into the folders and get all the music files and simply copy them over but all the file names will be messed up.

I use MediaWidget by Bootstrap Development. They have a free trial. You can copy music,movies,photos ect.

Didn't get a chance to do it,, the Ipod I was going to drag music from actually crapped the bed and couldn't be turned on to do this... Sucked bad.. I was pissed,, still am.. LOL
