Re: You Get It, I Get It, We All Get It.
05-12-2010 12:14 PM Let me recap what's happened so far:
SOCOM 4 was announced with some fairly general SP info. The main point here was to let everyone know that it's coming and to get everyone excited about it. Think of it sort of like a movie teaser, with a full trailer still yet to come.
Next, various Move events. Sony is big on the Move, obviously, and SOCOM 4 is one of the main titles being pushed for it. The coverage for SOCOM here is focused on how it works with the Move.
And here we are. What's next? E3. In many cases, you don't even know that a game exists until it's announced at E3. You already know about SOCOM 4. That's really the main difference here. Rather than waiting until E3 to find out about it, you already know it's coming. Most of the info is still being held for E3 and onward, just like a lot of other games that haven't been officially announced yet.
So, like a bunch of folks have said already, we can't such much more now, but we will relatively soon. --------------------
